GYPSUM FIBER BOARDS
Two or three layers of gypsum fiber boards are glued together and screwed together on top of the impact sound insulation. Typically, boards of 2 x 10 mm, 2 x 12.5 mm, or 3 x 8 mm thickness are combined. The surface is then primed and plastered. Any type of flooring can be installed on top of it.
RAISED WOODEN ACCESS FLOORS
On the concrete slab, padding battens (which are wooden slats about 4 x 6 cm in size) are laid on a sound-insulating base. The gaps are filled with mineral wool (formerly it was slag). Wooden boards or chipboards are nailed onto the padding battens. The surface is then primed and plastered. Any type of flooring can be installed on top of it.
